Make a Difference this Ramadan

For the 4th consecutive year, Deira City Centre, along with Mall of the Emirates, Ajman City Centre, Sharjah City Centre and now including Mirdif City Centre, invites you to 'Make a Difference this Ramadan' by donating used clothing, books, eyeglasses and mobile phones.  Your donations will be distributed by the UAE Red Crescent Society to needy people inside and outside the country.

For every donation made, we're giving you special offer coupons from our participating retailers.  It's our way of saying thank you for your generosity.

 

Visit our Arabian Oasis 

Visit our Arabian Oasis at our Centre Stage featuring life-like camels, towering date palm trees and an Arabian water well for a taste of traditional culture.  We've also prepare daily cultural activities which you can enjoy from 8pm to 10pm daily:  Henna painting for ladies, dates and Arabic coffee, falcon display.

Also enjoy our extended working hours this Ramadan:  From 10am to 1am daily.

 

Community Awareness

Deira City Centre has an active program of welcoming a number of charitable & social organisations into the mall to raise money or awareness for a variety of causes. These organisations have had the opportunity to take advantage of the mall’s extensive facilities and unprecedented visitor numbers, which enable them to raise funds through donations, as well as increase awareness for the cause they are promoting.

Deira City Centre is able to provide space, as well as purpose-built kiosks to utilise while they are campaigning in the mall.

The organisations we have hosted include:

  • Beit Al Khair Society
  • Red Crescent Society
  • Rashid Paediatrics Therapy Centre
  • Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department
  • Ministry of Health – Emirates Cervicare Network
  • Ministry of Health – Breastfeeding Awareness Campaign
  • Al Wasl Hospital – Awareness Campaign for Mother & Child
  • ‘Hope for Gaza’ Donation Drive
